Sliding House Overlook

Many of the overlooks have paved pathways to get to the overlook, and, thus, are wheelchair accessible...like Spider Rock Overlook, for example. Others, like Sliding House Overlook do no have paved access, so one must walk to the overlook on native ground. The way is guided by rock cairns and yellow footprints pointing the way.

Sliding House is so named because the dwellings were constructed on steeply sloping ledge, and many of the walls kept slipping.
